It was a beautiful, clear summer morning for the annual Volcano Rain Forest Run. Views of Mauna Loa (active volcano) and the surrounding rainforest was enjoyed by the runners. Brown, our young guest at the Teapot Cottage, 9 yrs old came in 2nd in his 9-13 yrs division and 29th overall out of 281 runners. He received a lei, his race shirt and hopefully will take home happy memories of his stay in Volcano!
